I initially met Lisa and Scott about 13 years before I sold the Ajax home they talk about in the testimonial they sent me, which you will see below.
At that time, I showed them a house I had listed in South Pickering. Although they liked the area and the house, they were just starting their search and were unfamiliar with the home buying process. I took the time to pre-qualify them for a mortgage and then referred them to one of my lenders. I also explained how my Home Buying System worked and assigned one of the agents on my team to work with them. Although they didn’t buy my client’s house, they found and purchased another one on the same street. Unfortunately for us, it was being sold privately. I congratulated them and they were so appreciative of all the time and effort we afforded them, they dropped off a nice note and pen set to the office for me.
Fast forward 5 years and I receive a call from Lisa. They would like to move to Ajax and ideally, buy something with a nice size lot. If it’s a bungalow, all the better. I just happened to have a home with those features that I had recently listed. I assigned one of the agents on my team to show it to them and in short order, they submitted an offer that was accepted by my seller. I then listed and sold the South Pickering home they had bought privately 5 years earlier.
Fast forward another 8 years and I get another call from Lisa and Scott. This time their plan was to move to Uxbridge, and they already had a conditional offer accepted by the builder on a New Construction home. So now they would like me to sell their Ajax home. When I showed them my comprehensive home evaluation and told them what they could expect, they were surprised. They were hoping I could sell it for the price I was suggesting but were a little skeptical. On the offer date, we had 4 offers, and I ended up selling their home for 106% of the asking price, which was at the high end of the price range I thought they could get!
I’ve mentioned this before, but our goal, or mission, is to provide such outstanding service when assisting our clients with their real estate needs, that they will have no hesitation in using our services again or recommending us to their friends, relatives, co workers, neighbours and acquaintances. This is the way I look at it: if our client is going to put their neck, or their reputation, on the line and refer us, the last thing they want is to be embarrassed if me or my team doesn’t do a great job for them.
Well, over the years we’ve helped Lisa’s parents and grandparents sell and buy 5 homes. Including Lisa and Scott’s homes, that’s 8 homes in total! Plus, they also bought one of my other seller’s homes. All told, that’s 9 properties that were a direct result of our relationship with Lisa and Scott. Needless to say, we think they are loyal, fantastic clients and from what they have to say below, they feel the same way about us!
